How to Get A Florida Real Estate License Application?

Step 1: Take and pass a pre-licensing course
All candidates must complete 63 hours of online or class-approved pre-licensing education.
In Florida, all required real estate licensing courses can be completed online with a state-approved school. Course certification is valid for two (2) years from the date of completion.
Step 2: Get your fingerprint
Florida requires a criminal background check before a real estate license can be issued.

The Original Agency Identification (ORI) number for the grant of real estate license is FL920010Z. If you have a criminal history, your application will be reviewed on its own merits to determine whether the requirement of good moral character has been met.
Step 3: Submit Your Application
To apply for a Florida real estate license application, you must be at least 18 years old, have a United States Social Security number and have a high school diploma or its equivalent. You do not have to be a Florida resident to apply for and obtain your real estate license.
Submit your DBPR application online or using a printable form that may be sent to the Florida DBPR.

It takes approximately 10 days to get your application approved.
Once approved, you will receive an email notification and a candidate ID number to schedule your state exam.
Step 4: Schedule and pass the Florida Real Estate Exam
After receiving your acceptance confirmation and candidate ID number (FLREAPP) by email, you will be able to schedule your state exam. The Florida state exam is given daily and can be easily taken online from anywhere at home or at the Pearson Wu test centre. Its testing centres are located across the United States.
You have 3.5 hours to answer 100 multiple choice questions (A, B, C, D). The passing score is 75%.
You can retake the Florida state exam as many times as you want. You just need to wait 24 hours to reschedule the exam.
